Mission: The associate of science in pre-nursing degree provides a foundation in general education and sciences to develop critical thinking skills, caregiving skills and to prepare students for entry into a baccalaureate nursing program.
The associate in science in pre-nursing consists of the general education curriculum and the supporting science and pre-nursing courses. In support of the mission of the University, the school, and the department, the degree seeks to develop a student with a broad and diverse background in science and general education.
